A Psychiatric Partner for Your Patients

We value the clinicians who already know and support our patients. Our goal is to provide thoughtful psychiatric expertise while respecting existing therapeutic and primary care relationships.

Clinical Capabilities

Care provided by physician psychiatrists

Every patient at Montenegro & Associates is evaluated and treated by a board-certified physician psychiatrist. Our physicians completed medical school, comprehensive residency training in psychiatry, and—in some cases—additional subspecialty training in child and adolescent psychiatry. This medical foundation helps us consider the full picture, including emotional health, physical health, medications, development, and life circumstances.

What that training means in practice
  • Comprehensive diagnostic evaluations
  • Assessment of medical conditions that may affect psychiatric symptoms
  • Expertise with complex medication regimens and drug interactions
  • Integration of psychotherapy, behavioral strategies, and medical treatment
  • Developmentally informed care for children and adolescents
  • Collaboration with therapists, pediatricians, primary-care physicians, and other clinicians

How to refer, and how we work together

How to refer

Please share our Request an Appointment link directly with your patient or the patient's family. They can submit the intake request themselves. Our team will review clinical fit, state eligibility, and clinician availability and will guide them regarding next steps.

What collaboration can look like

With the patient's consent, we can communicate with therapists, primary care clinicians, and other members of the treatment team when clinically useful. We aim to define our role clearly, avoid unnecessary duplication, and respect the therapeutic relationships already in place.
