Katherine Glass, MD
Pediatrics and psychiatry, practised together
Dr. Glass is an adult, child, and adolescent psychiatrist who is also board-certified in pediatrics, and her care blends the two disciplines. Her areas of focus include anxiety disorders, attachment and complex trauma, gender-affirming and LGBTQ+ mental health, non-traditional families, school refusal, screen-time concerns, and transition-age youth. She provides psychiatric evaluation, medication management, and holistic care tailored to each person, integrating psychotherapy recommendations and behavioral and lifestyle strategies alongside evidence-based psychiatric treatment. She has participated in resident education, served as a psychiatric consultant to primary care clinicians, and has lectured regionally and nationally on pediatric mental health.
My approach
Leveraging my training from Cincinnati Children's Hospital, my approach melds pediatrics with psychiatry for comprehensive mental health care. I emphasize empathy, deep listening, and collaboration, tailored to address diverse needs such as anxiety, LGBTQ mental health, and trauma. Beyond clinical work, I'm an educator and advocate, enriched by my passion for the Pacific Northwest's nature and family life.
